Insurance accepted. Full coverage may be possible.
We accept insurance for medical HBOT. Eligible treatment may be fully covered, depending on your diagnosis, plan benefits, and insurer approval. Insurance acceptance does not mean every condition or visit is covered. Deductibles, copays, or coinsurance may apply; confirm your benefits and expected out-of-pocket costs before treatment.
Explore covered conditions & insurance plans- Ask whether your specific plan covers HBOT at Genesis Med.
- Confirm medical-necessity criteria and any referral or prior authorization requirements.
- Request an estimate of your share of the cost for the proposed treatment plan.
Understanding hyperbaric oxygen
HBOT involves breathing oxygen in a chamber at a pressure above normal atmospheric pressure. It is a medical treatment for selected conditions. Your diagnosis and medical history guide whether it belongs in your care plan, along with the pressure, session length, and number of visits.
Advanced BARA·MED technology. Designed for comfort.
Our BARA·MED chambers use SMOOTH RIDE™: a computer-controlled compression approach that adjusts how pressure increases. The manufacturer designed it to reduce ear squeeze and make compression more comfortable. You may still feel pressure in your ears; comfort varies, and the technology does not remove the risk of ear injury. Tell the operator about discomfort promptly.
What your visit can feel like
You recline inside a transparent chamber. As it pressurizes, you may notice ear pressure similar to an airplane descent. At treatment pressure, you can rest; the chamber’s two-way communication system lets you speak with the operator. Pressure is then reduced before you leave. Ask us to confirm your full appointment length, including preparation and pressure changes.
Is HBOT right for you?
Suitability starts with a medical assessment, not a choice of package. Discuss your diagnosis, current medicines, lung history, ear or sinus problems, and any anxiety about enclosed spaces. Let the team know if you develop a cold before a visit. Your clinician can explain the evidence for your condition, expected benefit, and alternatives.
Preparation, recovery, and safety
Follow the facility’s instructions about clothing and belongings: high-concentration oxygen requires strict fire precautions. HBOT is not a cosmetic procedure with skin-healing downtime, but your underlying condition and response to treatment may affect your plans afterwards. Ask about possible ear injury and vision changes, and what symptoms to report.
What will treatment cost?
Start with your insurance benefits: eligible HBOT may be fully covered, while other plans leave a share of the cost to you. Ask about any deductible, copay, coinsurance, consultation fee, and the number of approved sessions. If treatment is not covered or you prefer to self-pay, email us for current pricing and an estimated total. A treatment plan should follow your medical assessment.
Start with a conversation
Email Genesis Med to ask about insurance coverage, our BARA·MED chambers, or a first visit. Tell us which service interests you and how you prefer to be contacted; detailed medical records and insurance documents can wait until the team explains the appropriate next step.
