Choose your finish together

Discuss your starting skin tone, desired depth of color, and the areas you want treated. Ask about the formula and ingredients, especially if you have sensitivities.

Color at the surface

Many sunless tanning products use DHA, which reacts with cells at the skin’s surface to create temporary color that fades over several days. A sunless tan does not provide sun protection; continue your usual sunscreen and protective clothing.

Know the details before your visit

Ask when to exfoliate or shave, what to wear, and how long to wait before rinsing or exercising. Follow the instructions for the specific formula. Spray should not be inhaled, swallowed, or enter the eyes, lips, or other mucous membranes; discuss protection with the provider.
